Service Description

To be in compliance with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Service (BSIS), a student must successfully pass phase 1. After the student has successfully passed phase 1, all of the necessary paperwork will be sent to BSIS from TRT DEFENSE; the fingerprints will be submitted through Live Scan and the student’s background check will be submitted electronically to the Department of Justice and the FBI. Once the student has been cleared and approved through BSIS, the student will then receive their guard card. The standard processing time for the BSIS to issue the Guard Card is 4 to 6 weeks. Some Guard Cards are issued much sooner and others take longer. TRT DEFENSE has no control over the Guard Card processing time.
