Service Description
This course teaches students the three branches of California’s legal system, criminal law and civil law, common crimes, vicarious liability, workplace violence, damages, Private Security Services Act and role of the security officer. This course focuses on criminal law elements for arrest, powers of arrest by a security officer, civil liabilities for security officers, vicarious liability, terrorist acts, anatomy of civil and criminal litigation, Business and Professional Code (Private Security Services Act), administrative law and role of the security officer.
